Greetings All! I wanted to send an update and summary of recent activity of the Member Services Committee of the WCAR.
—Gift Baskets Schedule and needs for components and ingredients:
Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast 12/02/2017—The basket has been prepared and picked up
5th grade Camp Spaghetti Feed: 2/9/2018 – in need of basket items. Theme is Spring Garden.
Fur Ball 02/24/2018— in need of ingredients
Boost Collaborative 03/03/2018— in need of ingredients
St. Boniface Guardian Angel School 03/17/2018— in need of ingredients and a basket
Habitat for Humanity Beans and Jeans 04/22/2018— in need of ingredients for a construction themed basket
Themes that we are currently gathering for the baskets are “Construction” and “Spring Garden” so the types of items that we could use would fall into those categories such as tools, tape measures and gardening things. Your generous donations are, as always, greatly appreciated.
Community Service Project ––I am happy to report that, through the generosity of Windermere/C-K Real Estate, Skyline Home Loans, Team Washington, Beasley Realty and Washington Federal, we have not only met but exceeded our goal for donations that will provide for lunches for volunteers for the Palouse Habitat for Humanity build for the month of November and into the next month. The Habitat for Humanity participants were extremely appreciative of your generosity. Thanks to all who gave!
—Snacks for the WCAR classes on 11/16/2017 were graciously provided by Washington Federal and both the Pullman and Moscow offices of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
—The only other upcoming need for donations is for our Thank First Responders program. Conversation with their representatives has indicated that they would appreciate their donations in the summertime when they are out fighting wildfires so we have more time to gather the baked goods that we provide for them.
I will send out reminders with more specifics as the dates for upcoming events approach.
Again, thanks for all that you do for your local Association of Realtors!
